1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, let a site remember information on your device. This policy explains which ones Tech for Tabs uses on techfortabs.com and in the application, and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies we use
We keep this short on purpose. We use only what is needed to sign you in and keep your account secure.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tft_session | Strictly necessary · first-party | Keeps you signed in and identifies which account and location you're working in. HTTP-only, so page scripts can't read it; marked Secure and SameSite to protect against cross-site attacks. | 12 hours |
The application may also use your browser's local storage to remember interface preferences, such as a collapsed panel or a display setting. This information stays on your device and is not used to track you.
3. What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies, and we do not sell or share information collected through cookies. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.
4. Third-party cookies
When you enter payment details, the payment form is provided by our payment processor (Stripe), which may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. Third-party services you connect to Tech for Tabs, such as your point-of-sale provider, may set cookies on their own sites when you authorize the connection.
5. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because our only cookie is strictly necessary, blocking it will prevent you from signing in to the application, but the public website will continue to work.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we don't do in any case.
